Down and back up again. That’s how you could describe the last week. First off: I didn’t wear my Fitbit for three days, which is why the values from Thursday to Saturday are low. I also forgot to weigh myself on Sunday and estimated the value.

Otherwise, on Thursday I dropped below 86 kg for the first time, meaning I’ve lost over five kilos since I started. A reason to be happy, which had to be celebrated. Unfortunately, with two Cuba Libres, which made their presence felt immediately. On my cheat day on Sunday, I also ate a bit more than I should have. Still less than I used to, and thanks to a long walk, I was under my calculated target. Nevertheless, I was heavier at the end of the week than in the middle, but still lighter than at the beginning. So the trend is right. Onward!

A personal realization to conclude: Sports and exercise are good, but their effect on weight is surprisingly (almost depressingly) small in the end.
